| - Stay at The Cosmopolitan and you're going to have sex. If you're married or have a gf, bf, partner, someone special - you're going to have sex. And hopefully lots of it. That's all you need to know, in a nutshell.
Why? This luxury hotel is a smooth combination of luxe, sleek, classy, and sexy. If I could have it as a dessert it would be decadent (but not too much), creamy, and go down just right. Everywhere you go there are places to lounge, dine, and there is something for almost everyone here - food, restaurants, nightclub, pool, multiple sexy bars serving signature cocktails, hip music pumping from all manner of places including the elevator, etc. All the accoutrements that bring you to the proper mood to - you guessed it - have SEX. And isn't that what Vegas is all about?
Decadent, but not too much. Just the way I like it.
We were there for a four-day stay and luxurious holiday party celebration recently in December. It is one of the most beautiful, modern hotels I have ever stayed at. So hip and upscale in a sleek way, but not overtly so.
We were on the upper twenty-something floor and stayed in a TERRACE SUITE WITH BALCONY. Such a fabulous room. This room had:
+ Hello/goodbye "memory lighting" that remembers your lighting preferences at the touch of a button. I loved this!
+ Beautiful lounger for two on the balcony
+ French door closet with robe and slippers
+ Soaking bubble jet tub
+ Shower with beautiful, shimmery tile and lovely C.O. Bigelow bath products
+ A nice, spacious living room
+ Comfortable bed and pillows
+ Kitchenette with microwave, sink, and fridge
+ Music video channel and tv, playing music while projecting artsy images
+ The video music pillars that greet you at the front lobby are beautiful, and get naughtier as the night progresses (but still stay tasteful)
Again, all fabulous to have on hand for you-know-what - SEX. This room was in the upper echelon of $600/night, so not exactly super affordable. But if you can swing it, it's worth every penny. There are more affordable rooms, too, of course in the $300s/night range and there are also more expensive rooms than this one.
The check-in and check-out process was easy. Our suite was comfortable, quiet, private, luxurious and I could have stayed here for a few weeks. There's a fridge stocked with expensive alcohol and water. If you want to save money, there's a Walgreens across the street at the corner of Planet Hollywood, where you can buy snacks. Every employee we encountered gave exemplary, friendly service. A shout out to MARIA in housekeeping - she's great. We went to the Chandelier Bar and The Marquee Club and had a fantastic time. We went to Rose, Rabbit, Lie for dinner for the holiday party and had a blast.
YELP TIP NOTE: No cover for the Marquee Club if you're a guest at the hotel.
All in all, a most fantastic, enjoyable time and a real getaway. We have kids, so yes, this was a dream come true to be away from "real life" for a little while. So stay here at The Cosmo, have lots and lots of SEX, and come back renewed. I highly recommend this hotel for couples seeking an escape. Or if you're not a couple, have yourself an adventure! You'll have a great getaway, as it's an ideal place to relax and also a playground to have fun - such a winning combination. The Cosmopolitan - there is no other place like it!
