This very chic hotel used to be The Salvation Army building. The architecture is amazing. The decor is very modern and looks like you stepped into a hotel in NYC. The 2nd floor bar and lounge is the best I have seen in a hotel. Elliot, the bartender, is an encyclopedia of any knowledge about alcoholic beverages and history of the company's that produce the alcohol. The only issue that we had was that the room was tiny, like NYC tiny, and the lighting in the room was terrible. Two tiny little side table lights that produced almost no light. I had to use my cell phone light to see the phone to call the front desk to request more light. They brought up another tiny light that didn't help much. We had to turn the TV on and keep the bathroom door lit and open to be able to see in the room. We are in our 40's, we are not blind. I get the "chic" dim lit idea but that is ridiculous.
