| - I've stayed at plenty of Best Westerns, but this one does not deserve the "Plus" to be added to its name. First, the "high speed" internet was so slow, it was worthless. I had to turn my iPhone off wifi to get on the Internet. Second, the breakfast attendant hurriedly cleared away the breakfast offerings even though several people were still eating breakfast. We arrived a few minutes before the end of breakfast hours, and most items were already put away. I had to clean my own table of crumbs and dried syrup before sitting down. The "attendant" attended to these necessities only after the crumbs and syrup were gone. She futilely tried to make it look like she was being helpful. The only thing left for breakfast was instant oatmeal--2 packages were left. Once I asked for and received a spoon, I could sit down and eat this less than hearty breakfast. At least the coffee was hot. It was tepid 45 minutes prior, when my husband went down to retrieve a couple of cups to bring back to the room. I realize that we arrived at the end of breakfast hours; however, anyone trained in food services should realize that customers should be treated as guests, not intrusions. Most restaurants will stay open if a customer walks through the door 30 seconds before closing time. This focus on efficiency at the expense of guest satisfaction was also evident in the room maintenance staff's failure to yield to guests exiting elevators. They obstructed the hallways with their carts by not placing them next to the walls. Guests had to maneuver around the carts. And yes, the ladies were right there! All in all, this BW "Plus" deserves a "Minus" as far as the service I witnessed.
