| - I think I've found the dreamiest coffeeshop in the entire East End (yes, even better than Dark Horse). Now, I'm not a coffee drinker, but I am a tea snob, and their loose leaf blends (the only really acceptable way to make tea) are nuanced, flavourful and a delight on the tongue.
Staff is friendly, and last time I came here, I had an in-depth chat with the manager who used me to taste-test some new (delicious) granola they were going to be bringing in. Speaking of taste, the baked goods here are fabulous. I just ate one of the best scones I've ever had and I believe they make everything in-house.
Oh, also? They have (very nice) beer in bottles!
Very nice ambiance inside - bright, comfortable and cozy. And I adore the music selection. They do have outlets to plug in computers, but not piles of them.
I could happily whittle away my hours in this place, reading, catching up on email, grooving to the music, and chatting with the staff.
