Attended the Tempe Halloween Festival here last night. This is a huge urban park. It features a lovely lake with paddle boats, covered ramadas with bbq grills, urban fishing, multiple playrounds with unusual equipment (such as a kid's zip line), baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, bike paths, and of course the Kiwanis indoor wave pool.
Last night's event used the soccer fields to provide fun and thrills for hordes of Tempe residents. Tickets were 25 cents a pop and most things were 2 or 3 tickets. There was lots of police and security presence to help everyone be safe.
This is one of the nicest parks in the valley and a real Tempe treasure.
