  • They say they will buy your car for an honest price, well maybe not! We took my daughters car in for an appraisal, they appraised her car for $7500 for a 2012 Kia Soul+ with 47000 miles. It had some minor damage on it. They had the same car on the lot for over $15000. I thought that's kind of low, so we took it to 2 Kia dealerships one offered $10,000 and the other $11,000 for the same car. I have sold CarMax a car before without checking around, I will never do business with CarMax again! If you are selling a car please check around to get a better deal.
