  • We came here for an extended family outing and even though I'm really not an artist, we had a great time and I actually am pretty proud of my painting. My brother-in-law and his husband had been there a few times before and so they put it together and along with the two of them, my in-laws, my wife's aunt, my wife and our two boys, we headed over there on a Saturday night. First of all, I was happy to see since it is just outside of the main bar district, parking was plentiful and easy to find. They had the room all set up and as we were the biggest group there we had the entire center table. Joining us for the class were a group of young ladies out for a girls night and several couples on dates. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They did a great job of showing us what to do and taking us step by step through the painting. It definitely eased my fear of not being able to paint. Each person also gets a drink ticket so I had an IPA, my wife had a glass of wine, and the kids had a Shirley Temple and a soda. While this wasn't something I would have thought of doing, it was a lot of fun and a great time for a group of people. In fact, I might even suggest it for an office outing sometime.
