The corner of 7st and McDowell is another hot spot for many stores and restaurants. They all shared the same parking lot. There are a few parking spaces in the back lot near the Easley's Fun House side.
As most popular brunch places, coming on a Sunday afternoon, this place was extremely packed. They have 2 entrances front and back. It can be confusing if you entered from the back since no sign or service directing you until you walked to the front seeing a long waiting line.
You place the order and paid at the counter then they bring the food to your table. You can watch them preparing the food while you order. It's an open kitchen. They do have outside seating area shared with other businesses.
I tried the special eggs Benedict on board and the Japanese cold brew. It was a basic hearty meal but nothing special. The Japanese cold brew was just ok. It didn't fully capture the coffee flavors that I am used to in a Japanese cold brew. Their Portuguese donut was decent but I felt overpriced ($1.50 for a really small piece).
Overall, it's great little place in a vibrant changing neighborhood.
