Service was really great but the food and atmosphere ... not so much. My husband and I went to eat there for dinner Saturday night. My first disappointment came when they told me it was restaurant week and my only option was to order a 3 course meal. I just wanted a normal entree but they didn't allow that. So I ordered the calamari fries, pimento crusted filet, and cheesecake. The calamari fries were heavily breaded which is fine but then drenched in sauce so it was served soggy YUCK! Then the one ounce filet tasted like old meat and the pimento cheese was just poured on top, not "crusted." Then the cheesecake had a strange consistency and tasted like filling from inside a donut. They promote the place as a gastropub but I felt like I was stuck in a big open warehouse with bright lights and no decor.
