VERY shady practices here. I stopped and looked at a new RAM 4x4 and saw how low the price was marked....immediately was interested but curious what was going to happen to end up benefiting the dealership, and make me "lose" on the deal. So, i started the negotiation and I found it....While the price of the vehicle was lower than some competitors, which they said it was because the truck was on the lot for over 200 days. Things you want to look for; Vehicle Price, Trade In Allowance and INTEREST RATE. The first two of those were ok...the interest rate (while my credit has taken a bit of a hit) they came back and gave me some BS about only being able to get me a 9.69% - NO WAY AM I PAYING NEAR 10% ON A DEPRECIATING ASSET! Conveniently they called me back the next day and "negotiated the rate down to 8.69%" which they said that was the buy-rate (look it up) and that I could not get any better ANYWHERE else because "they all used the same banks" .... PURE LIE!!! (they get a lower rate from the banks, raise it up to you, and get cut back from the bank at the end of the year, which is why they can do lower on vehicle or more on trade) ........I WENT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP 2 DAYS LATER, AND BOUGHT A TRUCK AT 5%. Will NEVER come back to this place. I suggest you go elsewhere as well, and do not buy on your first trip to a dealership!
