The dashboard in our 4Runner didn't go great but it pales in comparison to the ineptitude when dealing with a broken differential on a Land Cruiser. Easy diagnostic, no issues with the fee. They came back with an estimate of over $6000!!! A locally owned shop gave me a high estimate of $1800 but likely $1200!!! Here's the best part... when I told them "no thanks" I asked if they could disconnect the drive shaft from the transfer case to the front diff and remove the drive flanges so that I could drive it off the lot in RWD only (after locking the center Diff). This is a common remedy when a front diff on these trucks break when out on the trail. Their response: "it won't drive like that, impossible." This is wrong. But the crux of their JV operation was when I was told "that only works with the 2WD models!" Land Cruisers are 4WD only, its. It isn't even an option, these guys don't even know the basics of their own vehicles.
Zero stars.
I would only use this place for warranty service period.
Service department left my new dashboard covered with greased hand prints, amateur hour!
