| - Did you ever wonder what was so special about cakes with a big hole in the middle? Is it like a donut, missing a key part of it? Not at all! I was introduced to bundt cakes a few years ago when celebrating a colleague's birthday at work through a Nothing Bundt Cakes location in Glendale. Only a short time late, I realized that I drive by another location on a regular basis. That's the location I am excited to review for you today. The Nothing Bundt Cakes location at 44th Street and Indian School Road has great customer service, tasty treats, and awesome deals and promotions!
I have visited this location more than a dozen times over the past two years. There are three size cakes that I have ordered: bite-sized bundtinis, small bundtlet cakes, and full-sized bundt cakes. I have ordered several dozen bundtinis at a time for gatherings at home or work. I have also ordered full-sized bundt cakes before with a themed decoration to be placed in the middle of the cake. But the most common order are a few bundtlets that I would get and share. Each bundtini, bundtlet, or bundt cake has tasty icing and even more tasty cake often with chocolate chips or sprinkles cooked into the cake.
The promotions and deals are great to know about! First, get a punch card and after a dozen stamps for bundtlets or dozen bundtinis, you get a free bundtlet or dozen bundtinis. Second, you can sign up for a birthday club and get a free bundtlet for your birthday. Next, every other month or so, you can get an e-mail with a Buy One Bundtlet, Get One Bundtlet Free coupon. You still get stamps for the bundtlets you buy. Finally, every now and then is a special occasion. For instance, TODAY was the location's fifth birthday. The first 50 guests each received a dozen free bundtlets (one per month). Everyone received a Buy One Bundtlet, Get One Bundtlet Free coupon. Then, there was also a family-fun event tied to it with face-painting, a DJ, and plenty of cake samples.
You can also order ahead of time for pick-up and delivery. Oh, and the hours are very reasonable: Weekdays from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM. Don't forget to get your free taste of bundt cake on each visit!! Yum!
