Went to check out the Crom from a Locals point-of-view. The remodel pretty, albeit the huge hole in the left side hotel wall tells me the architect had a hole in his head. The downstairs staff seemed to be friendly but only to a limit... way too snooty for me. The problem is the General Manager Karie Hall should know better that it is the LOCALS who tell family & friends where to stay, where to play & what's new. Locals are not allowed to see the pool or visit up there for a cocktail, so they can tell their colleagues such as meeting & event planners where to book huge amounts of hotel rooms. I won't patronize a place where locals are not welcomed warmly. Lack of machines, hardly any keno, machines too tight for newly opened and the old corner fun & happy ambiance totally gone! Weird gift shop. I'll be posting don't go there on my personal facebook page.
