  • Best buns in all of Chinatown. Been to all of bakeries and find myself constantly returning to this one specifically. Why? Because of the fluffiness that is their steam buns! Never have I ever had such fluffy steam buns in my life. I actually bought 2 plain buns to prove my point. Plain bun: - Your basic standard, filling less bun. Airy and fluffy, outer skin wasn't too tough, quite easy to bite into or break in half. Had hints of salty and sweet. Steamed pork and vegetable bun: - Steamed bun filled with nicely seasoned minced pork and chives?? Couldn't quite make out what the green veggie they used was but absolutely flavourful. filling didn't seep through bottom of bun which is a plus. Sticky rice with chicken: - Two medium thin rice layers filled marinated soy sauce chicken and steamed in lotus leaf. Didn't have these as I bought them for my sister but she said they were absolutely delicious. Overall great bakery, prices were good and matched well with their food quality. Definitely warrants daily visits...if I lived closer.
