| - When I walked in, there is a sign in sheet , I asked the lady in the office if I could have a pen, she didn't greet me , say hello, nothing just put a pen on the clip board. She smells of cigarettes . She asked for my ID and insurance card and highlighted an area and told me to fill it out .It was the most uncomfortable experience , for JUST SIGNING IN. I'm sitting down, I hear her say , where did you sign in at, I turn around to look, and seriously not over playing what happened, she was huffing and puffing OUT LOUD. So because I was the only patient in waiting room,I asked her , did I do something wrong? She said oh no your fine . She has no business sitting up front greeting patients. Again, one of the most awkward, rude and offensive places I've ever been to. Her name is Valerie. Her name tag said Valerie Stat but I wasn't sure if that was a joke or not. I was so close to walking out and going somewhere else , but since I was the only one there and didn't have to wait, I stayed .when the lady from the back got me, I sat down and told her how rude she was to me , and how disruptful she is . She tells me , your not the only one who has said something about her . I said I will gladly file a complaint with your manager , she didn't really respond to that, and then I started to worry if I did complain about her my blood work might " get lost" or billing my insurance may be wrong. So here I am, very upset and hoping my words do not fall upon deaf ears .it was such a bad experience with her , Her attitude should not be allowed at the front desk where you interact with patients.
