| - I bought a slightly used car (about 30k miles) there about a year and a half ago and it has been nothing but problems. I am not the type to complain, but its really bad. I am just waiting for more things to go wrong.
First, I quickly discovered the air conditioning drained under the interior cabin carpet. It was not a small amount of water either. Items just sitting on parts of my carpet were saturated with water. Considering I had just bought the car I asked them to fix this at there cost. They argued with me quite a bit, but ultimately did fix it at there cost. However, they still made me pay for three days of rental cars. I was really just disappointed at there unfriendliness about the whole thing. It was like I was in battle as opposed to them just doing the right thing.
Next, still shortly after I purchased the car I noticed an odd thumping type sound and my steering wheel shaking. The car did not do this on any test drive. I took it a different dealer who told me the car had the wrong tires on it and because of that the tires had become cupped. The correct tires are very expensive (its a performance car) and cost $250. Further, its not safe to drive a car with the wrong tires. I realize the prior owner may have bought the incorrect tires and brought it in this way, but I would have appreciated it if the dealer had informed me of this.
Finally, the front bumper appears to have been repainted with the cheapest possible paint or incorrect paint. Just from normal driving I have quickly developed hundreds of chips in the front bumper to the point where it must be repainted. The paint is basically peeling off. I've never seen a car do this or owned a car that did this. The rest of the car does not chip as easily, thus my assumption is that it must have been repainted at some point. Again, it was a used car the prior owner certainly may have brought it in this way, but I am not satisfied with the quality of car I was sold.
I will not be a repeat customer and would recommend anyone shop at Spitzer Kia.
