  • If you take your car here, YOU ARE CRAZY!!!! I wish I had read my review before I started using them. This place is awful and that sucks because I really wanted to like them. Our relationship started when I bought some coupons from High School football kids. After several well priced oil changes and several conversations with the counter guy, I began to trust them. Since that point I have had over a thousand dollars in service done. It started to go wrong when they kept my locking lug key. I suppose that was an accident but believe me, you won't feel any better about the mistake when you're sitting on the side of the road with a flat and shit outa luck! Our AC went out so I took it in. Here's the sordid story: I dropped it off, requested a complete repair and my old parts returned to me. Day 1: Advised a cracked hose was the culprit, required replacement with a new hose, total bill $600.00 and it would be ready that evening. Recalled later to advise the parts house sent the wrong hose, they'd order another and be ready to go the following afternoon. Day 2: I called at noon, guess what, same excuse, they sent the wrong hose again. They'd re-order and have it ready by the evening. I reminded them to return the old parts to me. That evening my wife picked up the car, but no old parts were present.... hmm? I stopped by the shop and asked for my old parts. At that point I was told that they had unilaterally decided to repair the old hose by sending it out for repair. I began to see the scam, and I was unhappy. I made it clear that I had not agreed to that course of action. Of course, I was assured that the repaired hose was much more expensive ($200.00 more than a replacement hose) and that in the interest of "making it right" they had to "eat the cost". Well that my friends is horse shit! I called the hose repair shop and was informed that their most expensive repair for the day was $78.00. Tire Works charged me $200.00 for the repaired hose and ate an additional $200.00 in cost??? Guess what? 8 days later, no AC. The car feels like you are driving on the sun. If you go to Tire Works after reading this review, take some lube, you're going to need it.
