  • I called Second Opinion Plumbing to get a....second opinion. They were recommended to me by a contractor I've used and trusted for some renovations in my home. I spoke with Brian and had him come out to take a look at my 50gal hot water heater that wouldn't work after 10 years of service. Originally I had my heart set on a tankless unit, and Brian explained everything about tankless units as well as the maintenance they require in the hard water environment of Arizona. It became clear that a tankless unit was not necessary for the usage habits my wife and I have. Brian explained the issues with the previous hot water tank installation and the incorrect setup of the re-circulation pump that led to issues we had been experiencing since moving in. He made recommendations and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision on the upcoming investment over the next 20 years. All in all, I had Brian install a new tank, new re-circulation pump and new water softener. The system is working great and we are appreciative that his insights saved us from potential maintenance nightmares and headaches down the road. Second Opinion Plumbing is now my go-to for plumbing needs.
