  • They went above and beyond. I wound up at this dealership despite the reviews because my financing company was going to give me a great deal if I went with one of their preferred dealers. Let's face it, Nissans are hot cars right now and I fell in love with the one I drove. I knew I was going to buy it that night and after a bit of wrangling back and forth (know your credit worthiness BEFORE you walk into any dealership) I got a very reasonable price on the vehicle. The problems happened 3 days later when the vehicle had a previously undiscovered electrical problem. It had less than 200 mi on it, but the electrical greatly affected the operation of the vehicle. Obviously, this wasn't the dealership's fault, it's a manufacturing issue, but it was enough to completely sour me on my brand new car (with my brand new 6 year loan). They provided a loaner immediately (on a Sunday night) and arranged for towing the next day. My salesman gave me a routine followup call, and when I told him what was going on with the car, he went into action immediately, following up on exactly what was happening and bringing my concerns to his managers. This all happened during a holiday week, so repairs were delayed because people were off work. The next time I heard from their management team -4 days later-, THEY offered to swap the vehicle out for one exactly like it, saying it was something they rarely do. - After a bit of investigation, I understand that they've only done it once before in the previous 3 years. I did NOT have to argue, beg, or threaten to receive this treatment - though I was prepared to do all three if necessary. Turns out they didn't have the exact same vehicle available in the city, and so for a very modest change in my financing, they gave me a major upgrade in the replacement vehicle. Everyone at the dealership was polite and sorry for my troubles (without ever admitting any culpability) and worked at a superb level of customer service to right what could have been a nightmare story. I'm very grateful they worked together to do the right thing. Thank you Ken Pfeiffer, Christophe Roberts and Angela Steinke and Larry H Miller Nissan in Mesa.
