I think this is the only decent Korean restaurant in Arizona that we found. Our group was sick of the greasy and fatty foods we've been eating that weekend and seeked out some food from the motherland. We found this place, literally out in the boonies. We pulled into the lot, and I swear it looked like an abandoned strip mall. There were only maybe 2 other cars in the huge parking lot.
I can't speak for what the other's ordered, but I got the nengmyun(cold noodles) combo with kalbi(beef short rib). It was seriously one of the worst nengmyuns I've ever had. I had to douse the whole broth with mustard to drown out the weird taste. The only saving grace was the kalbi. It was pretty damn good. The lady who ran the restaurant was really nice too. She hooked it up with extra banchan(side dishes) and rice.
I don't know how this place is still in business though... it was peak lunch hour and there was only one other group there eating.
