  • Came to Celebration Square on Canada Day to watch the fireworks for my second time. DJ Four Corners was playing some great tunes when we came and it felt like I was at a rave for a bit lol. Was a great way to get pumped and ready for the celebration. They also had a stage where people performed live including Alyssa Reid, with two giant TV screens (I heard they play soccer on then during FIFA, which i'd love to checkout). I was told the fireworks were supposed to start at 10pm, but they didnt start rill 10:15pm. There was a small show with dancers repelled off the side of a building, swinging and flipping around to music. It was lame in my opinion. The fireworks were the best part of the evening. Pretty lights flashing and popping around including swirling fireworks. They even had some sparks go off the building to make it look like a waterfall of orange light. Forgot to mention! If you come here for a big event like Canada Day, I definitely recommend you to park a bit away in a side street as the traffic going home in the square 1 area is packed. i had a good time here for Canada Day.
