I'm a huge fan of The Pottery Shop. We did our daughter's 5th birthday party here a few years ago and absolutely loved it.
This place is incredibly spacious compared to other pottery options I've seen out there. Studio pass fees: adults $9, kids $7. The studio pass basically include paints, supplies (paintbrushes, stencils, stamps) and final pottery glazing & fire of your finished piece.
Take advantage of their specials and happy hour discounted painting fees. Anything helps.
The prices for the pottery prices are ok, some are more expensive than others. It just depends on what you are looking for. We've been here a few times to learn that I prefer the kids to picks pieces that are useful or practical. Such items may include plates, cups, mugs, platters, piggy banks. My kids are still fairly young and they are having fun with this experience but it's nice when they create a place they can use time and time again while appreciating their art. We have so many "random" ceramic pieces on display and that's fun but I love seeing them create art on a bigger canvas. This Pottery experience can add up quickly when it includes fees and pieces for the whole family. Choose accordingly. Ha.
