| - Ok, hear me out people-
Last night I went to Blake Shelton's concert there at the fields, and although I was ecstatic and happy to see Blake, the experience was kinda crappy! Let me tell you why:
The Bad:
First of all, you need to know, I had "lawn seats" in the back. Granted I went cheap on buying tickets so I knew that it my experience wouldn't be amazing. So after them having us wait forever before we could sit down due to weather, the concert sound quality (nothing to do with Blake) what sooo crappy. I was pissed. They have speakers all over that damn stadium playing their "waiting" music, but as soon as the concert started? they only used the front speakers in front of the stage! You couldn't hear a damn thing Blake said, and you could follow along to the music, if you actually knew the song. I wish Talking Stick would have given a "disclaimer" or something. I paid money to actually HEAR the concert I'm going to, thank you very much.
So my advice to you, if you are going to a concert there and actually want to have a quality experience, pay more and DON'T get lawn seats! But if you don't care that much, then go ahead.
Another thing, there were one of their security guys was totally disrespectful. I watch one of them approach a guy (that seemed to be doing nothing threatening, illegal, etc) and he got right in his face and was yelling all sorts of rude and crude things. They need to show more professionalism!
The Good:
Obviously, seeing Blake Shelton! The grounds are very nice and well kept.
The fireworks show was impressive and long.
