  • There is nothing I love better than coming across a place online that has been merely a stones throw away from me for ages. Tucked away in the plaza on the North-East corner of Major Mackenzie and Dufferin in Vaughan, Short & Sweet Cupcakes is the second location for the popular Toronto location. With more room and free parking in the plaza, it's a preferred stop in my books given that you get all the same flavours at both locations. Not to mention the super popular #FOTM (Flavour Of The Month) promotion which keeps customers guessing. This month it's all about Salted Caramel, so if you read this and are a fan of the sweet and savory variety of cupcake, make your way in ASAP!! What you might not know? S&S is set up to be a great spot to hang out for awhile. Lots of comfortable seating, in colours as bright as those that adorn the tops of their scrumptious dessert cakes! Also, they'll be starting kids birthday parties in the coming weeks/months so if you've got little ones who love to bake, definitely call them and find out when you can expect that to start. So what did I have? Red Velvet. So good. Like SO GOOD. I especially loved the little bit of red jam at the bottom - it was like the perfect little surprise as I finished my already delicious cupcake!!! YUM! Eatcrest Out!
