  • This was one of the better excursions we did on our visit to Boulder City. I really wanted to visit the Dam and this was a great way to see it from the lakeside. We inadvertently waited until Mother's Day to take the cruise and we were told there were over 200 people on board. We chose a seat inside on the second deck near the bar area at a table. They had a special for the day of a prime rib french dip sandwich with chips. We decided to order that for lunch, and apparently, everyone else on board also ordered food. We really enjoyed the cruise while waiting for our food, and we got lots of photos of the dam and the lake. There was an ongoing narration playing over the speakers to tell you about the history of the area. The food came pretty close to the end of the cruise but faster than some of the others near us. The manager offered us two free drinks to make up for the delayed food order. She also seemed to offer similar deals to the others who were still waiting. I thought it was great that they owned up to their mistake and made good on it. That impressed me and I'd recommend this cruise to others because of it. They could have been jerks and they weren't. The staff and crew were friendly and professional.
