  • Ordered an item for $500 from amazon and was given the notificiation it was delivered to my address. Called my family who was home and they told me that there was no knock or package anywhere to be found. I then went home and started looking around to see if it was put in front of the wrong apartment. Couldn't find it so i called this center. I spoke with a representative and they reviewed my shipping address to make sure it was right. Then told me to wait while they called the driver to see if he remembered my package specifically. Then i got a call back saying the driver remembered putting it at my address but seemed confused when I told her my building number. Then waited another hour to find out that the delivery man would try to make it back to see if he dropped it off at the correct location either at the end of the day or the next. How is that okay with a package worth so much? Also, they urged me to wait since I might get my package still. I ended up just contacting amazon and asking for a refund because i knew my package was not going to make it to me. A day later I got a call telling me that the driver does not remember where he dropped it off, so I should just file a claim. Although I eventually will get my refund, I do not think their methods for missing packages are effective at all.
