rev:text	Went to renew membership and left happy I didn't. My 3 yr old was excited as usual to be at the science center and ran down the long ramp to see the "eye telescope". When he got to the bottom of the ramp, his face met the concrete before his sneakers did. Oddly enough two employees were feet from where he fell. MICHELLE being one of the two. She stood over my son, not kneeling down to see if he's ok or even asking him. I was about 4 seconds behind him, which can seem like a mile when your child is hurt. Her kind words were about his face messing up her floor. Thought it was odd to hear that from an employee. When I repeated her words back to her, she told me it was a joke. I told her I couldn't find the humor in my child smashing his face into the hard concrete or the fact she said he messed up her floor. WHERES THE JOKE? She frantically followed me offering me free admission . When I told her I was a member, her facial expression went blank. To sum this up. Ppl like MICHELLE work at the AZ SCIENCE CENTER. She was cold and insensitive to a 3 yr old, oddly enough on a day that TUTOR TIME was there drumming up business. I'm assuming MICHELLE just doesn't like kids. Better find a new line of work MICHELLE. After this incident, i decided that I wouldn't be renewing our membership. Im glad this happened on the day I was going to renew and not tomorrow.
