I saw Steve Aoki for their Flawless Mondays. The lineup at the door was quite a mess with several different lines and signs. My friends and I purchased tickets beforehand and were told to wait in the giant GA line since we weren't on the guest list. When we got near the front, we were told that we've been waiting in the wrong line the whole time and were instructed to go through the much quicker ticketed guests line. Kind of annoying but glad that ticket holders get quick entry.
The club is gorgeous. I was amazed by the LED staircase at the front, just wow. We were told to go up to the second floor since the dance floor was already packed by 11 pm. Jewel is a very small club and packed if there is a headliner. Bartender was great and responded to customers in the correct order. Jewel also had a promotion for a free drink if you shared something on IG. Drinks around $18, my friend paid $16 for a fireball shot, insane but this is Vegas. There were tables and counter tops on the second floor to set your drink on. People were sitting on the counter tops in the back. The DJ before Aoki was phenomenal and played a great mix.
I was really skeptical about going to Jewel since I've never been to a straight club and I've heard horror stories about Vegas nightclubs but I was pretty impressed. I probably wouldn't go back to Jewel unless there was a really good headliner but I look forward to checking out the other mega clubs on the strip.
