The saying goes, "It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust."
I was new to Cleveland and just took a trip down to Akron to pick up my computer. On the way up my car stalled and my alternator was blown. AAA towed me up here and I dropped my car here after hours.
Nothing ... absolutely nothing was wrong with my car except the alternator and the signal clicking every once in a while. The next day they called and told me my alternator needed replacing (of course) and my front brakes are totaly gone (?what) ... I replaced both because being in a new job I couldn't afford any car troubles.
When I picked up my car the CV joints started making this horrendous sound. I never had CV joint trouble in this car EVER. How did it get so bad overnight at a mechanics?
Now, I'm not accusing anyone. I'm just saying be safe. And if anyone else has a similar experiance - well, then we'll know.
