  • I arrived at 9:12 for a 9:30 appointment as a new patient. My new patient paperwork was done before 9:30. At 9:55 I let the receptionist know my appointment was for 9:30 and asked when I might be seen. I was taken to a room that was not the actual treatment room. Slightly over 15 minutes later I still hadn't been seen. This appointment was also for a simple ear-cleaning, so I didn't even need to see the doctor for my appointment to be kept. (The ear cleaning was to be done by a technician.) I understand that later in the day, doctor's offices can back up. Even then, normally an attempt is made to explain, particularly so if a patient notes there's been a delay and asks when they might be seen. For a 9:30 am appointment...?
