  • My boyfriend loves this place and as much as I also WANT to love it, there are some nagging negatives about NCounter that need to be resolved before I can. Please note- if you request cheese to be added to your eggs, be prepared to be presented with an enormous GLOP of cheap, greasy cheese smothering the entire plate of eggs. I thought this was a fluke the first time I went, but on each subsequent visit the same thing has occurred. Last time I asked for *light* cheese and again I was presented with a massive dump of cheese on my eggs. And the quality of the cheese is not good unfortunately. It's greasier than a lot of what I "NCounter" elsewhere. See what I did there? ;-) The second time we visited, I ordered the red velvet waffles and the batter was way undercooked. I loathe sending dishes back but felt forced to because I didn't want to get sick! On the third visit I decided to be "safe" and get toast. Well, hilariously the damn toast was burnt AF. Can't cook waffles all the way through, but burn the toast. Boyfriend's toast was also burnt. Maybe (hopefully) that will make him like this place less so we don't have to keep coming back! I can't win at NCounter and thus, can't recommend it.
