I had an awesome time at Archery District with my co-workers during our team outing!
The location was a little difficult to find since there aren't any signs. But once you find the building, it's located on the left side of the building. After walking in, the ask you to sign a waiver and validate your age on your ID. They start off by giving instructions on how to use the bow and arrow, with a few test shots each.
Once everyone is ready, you're taken into the arena with a bow and a face mask. There are multiple games that you play (mainly variations of shoot the other team), but at the start of each game you run from a wall to the middle where the arrows are located. There are a few inflatable barriers that you can hide behind, but it's not effective since it doesn't protect you from all angles. I found that it's easier to simply dodge arrows.
All of the running and shooting is tiring as there is no airflow in the building. Some air conditioning or fan would improve things tremendously. We were all sweaty at the end of our hour reservation. They conveniently sell cold drinks at the front for a dollar.
I suggest wearing shorts, since you can split your pants if they're too tight. Just saying... Also, there are lockers in the front. They're free. Just bring your own lock.
