This is the letter I wrote to Russ Preite, President of Northern Regions for Verizon Wireless:
My review is regarding a Verizon store address 9985 South Eastern Avenue Ste 130, Las Vegas, NV 89183
On September 9, 2015, I noticed my data usage went up very quickly. I called Verizon and they asked me to go to a Verizon store. I went to the store on Eastern. I entered the store and there were two lady employees at the counter talking to each other and one gentleman employee helping a customer. The gentleman asked the ladies to please help me and they both ignored him. He said they would be with me in just a minute. Then a customer walked in and one of the ladies walked over right passed me to assist him. I asked what is going on and why they weren't helping me and no one responded. Then a second customer walked in and the second lady walked over to him and helped him leaving me in the middle of store still not helped. The gentleman employee walked up to me and said he would help me and he was very kind. I asked what is going on and why they refused to help me and one of the ladies started verbally abusing me and yelling at me across the store.
Needless to say, I am cancelling Verizon. I am getting all my details together and making sure when my contract dates are over and I do not resign.
I was so furious I couldn't even get names. I could not believe how terrible these two women were to me when all I did was follow direction from Verizon contact center.
I want answers as soon as possible. I want to know why I was put through so much trauma from these two women and I want to understand why I was singled out. Was it because I was a woman? Or of different race? Or was it my age? I need to understand.
The incident happened today, Wednesday September 9th at noon. I apologize for not getting the names but I was very distraught.
Thank you and looking for a resolution soon.
