  • This my fifth day of a six day stay. We arrived on a Tuesday and will be checking out Monday. The good. The location was fine right off 79; however, you will probably need a gps to find the place as signage is a tad sparse. We stayed in a king bedroom studio suite which was spacious and featured a small sleep sofa, desk and chair, thirty-two inch TV, and a shower--no tub. We also had a kitchen with a full size fridge, a dishwasher, microwave, and two burner stove top. The staff is professional and accommodating. The provided breakfast is quite adequate and there is an included dinner service Monday through Thursday. Wi-fi is provided free and is of an acceptable speed. We experienced a problem with the TV and maintenance responded quickly and the issue was immediately resolved. Housekeeping is efficient and friendly. The bad. For what should be a business hotel with a professional clientele, this place is a magnet for families who seem to have absolutely no parenting skills. Not only can you hear doors slamming as unsupervised children race around getting to the indoor pool (a horrible addition) but the walls seem quite thin. This means you can hear "parents" shouting at their children using expletives that should make a longshoreman blush. Where do these people come from? I have mixed feeling regarding my stay. Perhaps Hilton needs to define this place. Do they want to attract business travelers who are looking for a convenient and professional place to stay or would they just prefer to be family destination for the rude and churlish. Having breakfast is an experience as there are families who actually arrive for service "dressed" in their pajamas. Again, where do these people come from? Dogpatch is supposed to be a fiction from Al Capp, right. The WSJ is provided free as a courtesy so go figure who is the target customer.
