  • Fractured Prune Doughnuts isn't your typical mom and pop doughnut shop. Cake doughnuts are made here, not yeast or any other kind and I'm perfectly fine with that. It's nice to have a doughnut shop that is doing something a bit different. Each location offers different flavors and specialty doughnut combinations as well some locations have "seasonal" flavors which I hope this Fractured Prune Doughnuts does at some point. The staff is really nice and are great about suggesting different flavor combinations. I personally only like to eat these doughnuts right after they have been made and don't like them as much later on or the next day. For the best experience all around, it's better to eat them right away to enjoy the fresh, hot, deliciousness that they are. Glazes - Blueberry, Caramel, Chocolate, Honey, Maple, Mocha, Mint, Mixed Berry, Raspberry, Strawberry and Vanilla. I really hope in the future they get the Cherry and Key Lime glaze that I've had at other locations. Toppings - Chocolate Sprinkles, Cinnamon & Sugar, Cookie Crumbs, Crumbled Bacon, Graham Crackers, Granulated Sugar, Mini Chocolate Chips, Mini Marshmallows, Powdered Sugar, Rainbow Sprinkles, Sea Salt and Vanilla Wafers. Doughnuts are $1.79 each or $14.99 per dozen and made fresh to order. I have never had to wait too long for mine, but keep in mind that since these are made when ordered that it might take a few minutes depending on how many you ordered. With the variety of glazes and toppings there's a lot of ways to customize your doughnut to change it up each time. I usually do at least one customized and one specialty. One that is a favorite of mine as well my hubby is the OC Sand which has honey glaze and cinnamon and sugar topping, but if you like mini chocolate chips I recommend the Rocky Shores which has the same honey glaze and cinnamon sugar topping with the addition of mini chocolate chips. Don't forget to grab some napkins and forks because you'll want to dig right into these delicious gems once you get them. They also have hot and iced coffee and are open late making this a great spot for a late night snack or dessert.
