I've always thought that this was a unique and cool store. I've been in there a dozen times or so to look for gifts for myself or others. They do have some uncommon items for sale - which I suspect are vastly shipped from China and not necessarily the highest of quality.
The prices are all pretty well marked up but might be "worth it" if you are seeking a gift for that "hard to buy for person".
Which is exactly why my husband has bought several gifts for me here. The problem is that if you don't like the gift and if you don't find anything that suits you there - they only take exchanges. So now I have 2 gift cards, holding up my money that *must* be spent there and I'm really not interested in what they have to offer. My mother always taught me to not patronize places that didn't allow for returns. Guess it's time that I heeded her advice.
Additionally, the big guy with the even bigger earlobes has been super rude to me. I suspect he owns the place and doesn't really give a sh*t about individual customers. Maybe he's thinking about the bottom line?He basically gave me the Heisman (out of the store) when I questioned him about allowing returns.
Not going to head back there and thinking of how I can get rid of my 2 gift cards....
