| - The squash pro, Bryan Chin, is encouraging, inspiring, and a true professional. He very subtly is a court matchmaker, as well, and I'd believe many a business deal have been struck up thanks to his suggestions for squash partners.
The squash program there is robust, but not intimidating. It's easy to get involved-- quickly-- with the many leagues, tourneys and clinics.
I think Extreme Fitness gets a bad rap, but this gym is super clean, 5 floors, with upbeat instructors and a jam-packed, dynamic class schedule. Fit2Ski, box classes, jump rope and power yoga are some of the best-- plus, they are scheduled for real professionals. And the crowd is good.
I don't know why the hell anyone would join Yorkville across the street. I had a free trial there, and their best pitch was their concierge service-- would I REALLY ask someone to pick up my dry cleaning for me? No way!
