  • You won't find anyone who knows wines as well as Richard at Metrovino... okay maybe you will, but I haven't and he helped me pick out an "off-dry" German riesling (one might think that would make it slightly moist, but actually it's slightly sweet). Metrovino is stock piled with wines and alcohol from all over the world. They carry a great many different brands that you may not find in your neighbourhood liquor store. It sounds expensive - except this store is full more quality wines for a decent price than you'll find anywhere else. If you've never been, go tonight for the second night of their Fizztival event. You get to sample some of the product, eat some yummy food and receive 10% off your purchase. If you missed Fizztival, go anyway and put the staff's knowledge and friendliness to the test. They'll pass with flying colours.
