  • Donut Mania's donuts are the best I've had so far in Las Vegas, but that's damning with very faint praise because the other donut places I've tried were awful. I've had great donuts (the original Lamar's in KC before it was sold & turned into a franchise and Doughnut Plant in NYC), but DM's offerings were just mediocre. I had a cake glazed, white cream, Boston cream, and a strawberry cream (no, not all at once). They were all OK, but just OK, nothing special. The staff was nice & friendly and took care boxing up my half-dozen. The shop was clean and did not smell of cigarette smoke like some previous reviewers mentioned. And the doughnuts were fresh (even fine when eaten the next morning), but nothing great. Well, since I love donuts even more than Homer Simpson, it's for the best that I have yet to find a decent donut shop in Las Vegas.
