  • The check engine light turned on late last night on my very high-mileage Jaguar. Since the dealership is no longer, I reached out online to Desert Oasis. My email was returned early this morning asking if I could bring it in and also indicating they could drop me off at work or home if needed. While not the same amenities as the dealership, the family-run business is staffed with some top quality mechanics. Service advisor, Joe, told me there were a number of odd fault codes coming up on my car but since it was running ok, they may have been anomalies. Rather than suggesting I have a number of expensive repairs, he suggested resetting the codes, changing the oil, and if the light comes back on to come back. I appreciated the fact he was practical without being foolish. One knows when they get a luxury car that it's easy for shops to take advantage of the customer, but in my couple of occasions to go to Desert Oasis, I've been met with prompt, friendly staff who know their craft and don't gouge you. Plus, you get coupons and discounts and I love that too!
