The only saving grace for this Casino is the food. I've come here for several years for horse shows, but this year I chose to stay else were. For the amount of money we pay to have our horses there (just in a stall) you'd think we would get some sort of package deal. You don't. In-fact when I went to book my room this year the website quoted me $20 less a night then the price they gave me with our group code. When I called and asked why the girl stated "that's the only price we will give you for YOUR group". Not sure if there was something behind the "your", but she wasn't at all friendly. Which is another issue, rude staff. One year we had a security guard grab our 4 year old by the arm and yell at her because it crossed the line into the VIP section. When we were VIP. Now on to the rooms. The first few years the beds were nice, this changed. The last two years the beds were so stiff that of felt like I was sleeping on the floor. With old injuries how can I get the sleep I needed to even function? I've never slept on a cheaper bed in my life... I almost went and bought an air mattress. This casino was supposedly built to host Horse events yet they do nothing in exchange for all the money we bring in. There are other places to have the shows and I've been working with the committee on going else where.
