When I first heard Chocolat Favoris was not only coming to Ontario, but to the town right next to my own I was delighted. Last summer I was in Quebec for 5 weeks for a school exchange. Down the road from my residence there was a location, and on my second last day I went with friends to celebrate being done. I came home two days later raving about how different and delicious this chain is.
Fast forward a year later and a location opens up 15 minutes from my house. For Easter my parents bought my brother and I two chocolate hens. With the hens, they gave my parents a 2 for 1 coupon which my brother and I finally decided to use. We both got a small soft serve dipped. I recommended a small to my brother since that's what I got in Quebec and the portion is huge! They have 5 different soft serve options and over 10 chocolate dips. Their chocolate is amazing. It's sweet, rich, and real (not the waxy chocolate you get from an ice cream truck). I ordered a small vanilla soft serve with their crunchy hazelnut dip. My brother ordered chocolate soft serve with cookies and cream dip. We sat outside where there were easily 10 tables set up with chairs. The store was busy and very clean.
Overall would highly recommend. It may be slightly expensive, around $4.50 for a small soft serve dip, however the portions are large and a small is more than enough to satisfy that craving. Will definitely go back!
