Winco offers higher quality produce than many other Asian supermarkets. My mom comes here at least once a day as she says the fruits and veggies are very fresh and nice.
When it first opened last year, it was pretty quiet, but now, it's one of the busiest supermarkets in town.
The fruits and vegetables are higher priced than many other places, but for other items I find the price the same or less. I guess the price premium for fruits and veggies is for their freshness and high quality, but everything else it's the same item as other places.
Sometimes I find some pretty unique items here, like whole frozen ??? durian (around $16 per pound) and crab meat from Japan.
