The thing that stood out most about this hotel is its location. This place is close enough to the strip, and the center of the strip at that, that you really don't need a car to get to the majority of attractions. It is about a half of a Las Vegas block - the equivalent of about 2 normal city blocks - from Las Vegas Blvd which is perfect for me because I enjoy the energy that the boulevard brings but like to be able to get out of it when I'm ready to get some rest. You are also able to take advantage of being in the "scene" without paying the going rate for being in the "scene."
**Side note on the price. I got the rates that I did because I agreed to a time share presentation. So what I paid was a promotional price (I'm sure) and couldn't give an opinion of the normal going weekend rates for this hotel. I just know I got a good deal this time around.
The rooms were very nice and the bed was comfortable. This is a relatively new hotel (there are still sections of it that are not open yet) and we were fortunate to have gotten a room that just opened up a couple of weeks prior to our stay...or that's what they told us. I actually believe them, as there was something in the room that triggered our allergies - which is indicative of the HVAC not having been in operation for very long and minimal ventilation of the room. I won't complain too much about that though because there are fare more outdated hotels that are home to many more allergens that result in far worse symptoms than a stuffy nose. Aside from a stuffy nose, I was glad this place was available for my visit.
