| - BOTTOM LINE: EPIC FAIL. Unreliable, inconsistent, disorganized and unprofessional - I cannot recommend them even with a Groupon deal. (And please read the numerous filtered reviews which support this).
Update Apr 3, 2015 - How are they still in business?!
Update Feb 10 2014 - After almost 2 years since my review, this is the only review that hasn't been filtered...yet. If it's my Yelp Elite status that keeps this streak going, then I feel an obligation to keep Yelping (despite their questionable filtering process). Suffice to say, more reviews document the exact same problem I had. How are these guys even in business still?! Dear Internet, please stop purchasing their services from coupon sites...
Update Mar 13, 2013 - I keep updating this review bc people keeping finding it "useful". Almost a year later, people are still having similar experiences to me...BUT YELP KEEPS FILTERING THESE REVIEWS EVEN THOUGH SOME SEEM PRETTY LEGIT! C'MON YELP!
Update Oct 29, 2012 - Been getting a bunch of ads for these guys again and thought I would check-in. Since my last review, there have been 4 more filtered/removed 5-star reviews from suspicious profiles. RIDICULOUS. I can't wait until Yelp implements their "badge of shame" on businesses that try to manimpulate their scores.
Update Apr 22, 2012 - I also note 2 other reviews, 1 filtered, with exactly the same disappointing experiences
=====
I've never written such a negative review for any place, so here goes...
I purchased their Groupon for $109 for 6 hours of cleaning services because it was a great deal over their usual $60/hour, but it's been a harrowing experience almost from the very beginning (I didn't even bother re-scheduling my 3rd session and, instead, found a private cleaner that I've been very satisfied with). Their customer relations rep (Nadine Sidi)) is, quite possibly, one of the most inept reps I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
UNRELIABLE
You book an appointment, you receive email confirmation, then no one shows up. No word, no explanation, and then you're left to follow-up. How does this happen?!
INCONSISTENT
They advertise as bringing their own cleaning products, but this is not always the case. The first time they did a great job and left my place smelling like raspberries. The second time, many of the same items were left uncleaned (they left a table sticky!), and they used a bunch of my new dish washing sponges so I had change ALL my sponges not knowing if my usual dish washing sponge was clean or not. They even broke a glass candle holder and didn't notify me! The third time...well, no one showed up.
DISORGANIZED and UNPROFESSIONAL
Nadine is one disorganized and surly rep. Replies to emails are erratic and require more communication then you would expect.
Exhibit A: It has required a total of 33 email exchanges to set up 3 friggin' appointments over 3 months. RIDICULOUS.
Exhibit B: After being promptly notified that I had failed to leave the HST with the cleaners (for which I was never notified for nor the amount in the first place), it took 7 surly email exchanges before I was finally informed what I owed.
Exhibit C: After asking (and receiving) the HST payments for all 3 sessions together, NS neglected to keep track of this and re-requested the same after another month had gone by. Fortunately, I remembered I had already paid, or I would've had to pay twice for her mistakes! OUTRAGEOUS.
Exhibit D (updated Apr 22, 2012): It took another 13 emails and 2 months worth of follow-up before I finally recieved my (measely) $5 refund back from the HST charges. JTFC.
For a straightforward business model, it's unbelievable how much of an EPIC FAIL their service has been. I hope my review will help fellow Yelpers avoid the frustration I went through.
