| - An update on this. First off, no change in rating. Secondly, even after telling the Sales Manager to get rid of the file with my wife's information over two weeks ago she still received a phone call from another salesman asking her to either call him back or come in to work another deal. This means one of two things....either they kept the file or they can't take a hint. Maybe both. Lastly, and this one cracks me up, my wife received a notice in the mail showing that the dealer obtained her credit report. We already knew this because it was done while we were in the dealership. Now when they did it while we were there they said that it was all good and were ready to have us accept any of their offers no questions asked. But all of a sudden this notice she just received states they were "unable to offer credit for your acquisition on the terms you requested." Interesting how the salesmen and Sales Managers didn't say that while we were there. Also interesting seeing as my wife's Experian score shows 725 and her Transunion score shows 740. And anything she has on her credit report she has never missed a payment on. This makes me feel like they're trying to say that they wouldn't want to give my wife the credit because they don't consider her enough of a risk of defaulting. Or they sent that letter just to spite us. Either way, beyond shady to me.
This just cements my belief that this is the worst dealership in the Phoenix-area. Which is funny seeing as I was told by their Sales Manager on the phone, when I told him we found a better deal, he said "I highly doubt that because we're the top Kia dealership in all of Phoenix." Whether or not that's true, and based on these reviews I doubt that, you're not the only Kia dealership here.
With that all said, Mr. Clayton, the General Manager, if you really are reading and replying to these reviews as it seems, I will tell you this....you need to gather your entire staff and have one serious conversation with all of them. It is quite clear that we are not the only ones who have had a very bad experience with your staff. I'll also say from my own experience that if a customer calls asking to speak to a specific person, then whoever answers better make that happen instead of trying to save face because they know what the customer has to say isn't positive based on the situation. I'm pretty sure you have a Customer Relations Manager for a reason.
