| - Free (mostly) reliable wi-fi, free north American calls, cable, Aveda amenities, modern kitchen, and well used space with lots of storage. The staff are friendly. All characteristics that I seek out in accommodations, but I am just not sold on the set up.
It sort of felt like a domino effect: The front desk is only open from 9am to 9 pm which can make checking in a challenge. The front door is locked and accessible by a code, which didn't prevent an attempted break on one of the night's I was there. Perhaps my lack of sleep that night wouldn't have been that big of a deal if the A/C units were built in, or at least had an exit vent that didn't include leaving your balcony door open (open to a dodgy parking lot where the night before the b+e there were people having a screaming match over Starbucks). Then again, if the fan worked, I might not have needed the A/C. Or if the blinds actually kept light out (they're like the roll blinds you see in car windows)I would've fallen into a deep sleep hot or not.
It may look posh, but at $150 a night, I think they can do a bit better than an insecure building and main doors to the rooms. I could see light from the holiday around the whole door frame, it only had one lock and it felt like little old me could have busted it down with a huff and a puff.
