  • Lowe's is you standard, big box hardware store. In this part of town, you will be frustrated to visit during snowbirds season. The aisles are clogged, there are little dogs running around and occupying baskets, and people who act like self-checkout is going to steal their souls are taking forever. All that aside, the store is usually pretty clean. Maybe good, maybe bad, but I never see any staff roaming around. Now, I am not a fan of being asked 10 times if I can be helped, but not being able to find someone when you do need assistance is frustrating. I also am unsure of the purpose of the MyLowes card. I have one, but nobody ever asks for it, and I forget. I don't think I have ever had rewards, deals or sale prices from having it. It is supposed to ease returns as well, but didn't help at all the last time I had a return. I don't know. Anyway, I would choose Lowes over other similar establishments, and find that they have better selections in decor items and fixtures. The prices are similar, so shop it for the best deal.
