I walked in here on a Wednesday morning ordered my usual Venti black iced tea, unsweetened. I normally pay $2.65 in San Diego. I understand that because this Starbucks is outside of Treasure Island, the prices would be a little higher. I did order one in Vegas at the outlets and I paid $2.86. This Starbucks charged me $5.19. When I asked the barista why this was so expensive, she turned around and pointed to the menu board... "Shaken iced tea is $4.80 plus tax." I said that I understand that but this is a full brewed tea and should be charged as that. She then told me that I had to order it hot to get that price. I couldn't believe after all the times i've ordered the same thing, this was the first time I was charged for a Shaken iced tea. I also couldn't believe that she was actually arguing with me. Thanks for your help, Alma.
