| - We have been into the new establishment in Verona twice, and both times the service was well below even average.
The wines are fine if you like sweeter wines, and the space is really nice. Live music on weekends is a nice touch.
But the first time we went in there, it took about 10 minutes for anyone to approach us to take our order. We were sitting at the bar, there were 3 employees there, and it wasn't that busy. Ok, can understand since it was just opened at the time, maybe employees were all new.
The second time we went in, we went with 2 friends. My wife and I both ordered a glass, but our friends wanted to do the tasting. It took over 45 minutes for our friends to get through the 5 samples. It was busy that day, but there were 5 people on staff. Our friends actually had to ask to be served every sample 2-5, because multiple times the staff would walk by, see their empty glasses, look at us, and just walk right past.
I was very excited to have a winery close to home, but given the service issues we have had, I think it might be a while before we go back in.
